The USS Normandy has been fired upon and hit by an Iranian Silkworm anti-ship missile battery in the Straight of Hormuz, she is dead in the water and CENTCOM has ordered an immediate retaliation upon the battery to cover a rescue operation by US Navy destroyers detached from the USS Carl Vinson's CBG.

Tensions are high and this could escalate to a full on war with Iran at any moment, pilots of VMFA-122 and VMA-223 are instructed to not hit any targets outside of the Silkworm battery.
