Today we are in Elmcreek and we have to spread slurry on the fields and seed the wheat. We started with detaching weight from John Deere 6120M and attaching it to the John Deere 8530. After that was done we jumped into John Deere 8530 and headed to our neighbor farmer to get the slurry spreader. When we arrived we talked a little bit with the neighbor and then we attached GEA Houle 4350 slurry spreader to the tractor and headed back. Back at the farm, we filled the slurry spreader with slurry from the cowshed and then headed to the first field. We set up the GPS and started spreading slurry. We spread slurry on two and a half fields and then we run out of the slurry on the farm. We decided to visit the local BGA and see if the have some slurry for sale, so we jumped into John Deere Gator and headed to the BGA. When we arrived we talked with the boss and she let us have a few digestate loads for free. So we returned back to the farm and we jumped into John Deere 8530 and headed to the BGA to load the digestate. At the BGA we had to weigh empty first and then we got filled with digestate and then we need to weigh loaded. After that was done we headed back to the farm. We finished the third field and then we headed to the last one. In the end, we got four loads of digestate from the BGA and we cover all the fields with slurry and digestate. Then we washed the tractor and slurry spreader and returned the slurry spreader to the neighbor. After that was done it was time to seed the winter wheat and for that job, we need to lease the seeder from the local dealer. We jumped into John Deere 7810 and headed to the local dealer. We leased Kuhn Venta 4030 seeder and returned back to the farm. We filled the seeder with seed and we headed to our first field. We set up GPS and started seeding winter wheat. We seeded three and a half fields and we run out of seed so we returned to the farm. We jumped into Ford pickup and headed to the local dealer to buy some. We got one pallet of the seed back to the farm and we used John Deere 6120M to load the seeder with seed. Then we parked the Ford and jumped into John Deere 7810 and finished seeding the wheat. After that was done we unloaded leftover seed and then washed the tractor and seeder and then returned the seeder to the local dealer. We returned back to the farm and parked the John Deere 7810 and then jumped into John Deere 6120M. We used it to put the seed pallet into the barn and then we parked it. After everything was done we headed inside the house for a lunch break.
