Today we are in ERLENGRAT and we have to transport the logs from the mountain to the sawmill. We finished collecting the logs with Ponsse Bison and we unloaded the last load and parked it. Then we jumped into Hilux and we returned to the sawmill and headed inside to do some production. The next day there was a lot of snow on the ground and we have to transport the logs. We jumped into MAN forest truck and headed to the local dealer to buy the new forest trailer. We got a smaller one for 12.500 euros and it's perfect for us. We attached the trailer and headed up the mountain. When we arrived we got the truck in place and we started loading the trailer first. After the trailer was full we re-positioned and started loading the truck. We got everything loaded and strapped and we headed down the mountain. We unloaded the logs at the sawmill and we went up for one more load. On the top of the mountain, we loaded everything again and headed down to the sawmill. At the big turn, we managed to flip the truck because we were top-heavy. We called our worker to get the Hilux to us and while we waited for him we made a plan of rescue. We decided to get MAN with crane and low-loader trailer from the local dealer. When the worker arrived we jumped into Hilux and headed to the dealer. We had truck and trailer waiting for so we jumped in and headed to up the mountain. When we arrived we had to turn around and then we got in the place. We attached the traverse to the crane and we unfolded the support legs. We tried to flip over the trailer but because there were logs in the trailer it was too heavy. So we went and got Ponsse Bison and we removed the logs from the trailer. Again we tried to flip the trailer with a crane but we didn't manage to do it because we were positioned very bad. So we tried to do it with Bison and we managed to do it. Then we went and got the Valtra and attached the trailer to it. We moved the trailer in the clear and we overloaded the logs from Bison to the trailer. After that was done we loaded the logs from the truck and we tried to flip it with the crane but had no success. The issue was that we couldn't remove all the logs from the truck because of the crane on the truck. So we decided again to use the Bison to flip the truck and we managed to do it. After we got the truck on the wheels we removed the rest of the logs and then we loaded the truck on the low-loader. We strapped it and then headed to the sawmill. When we arrived we unloaded the truck and then parked it. We returned the truck and trailer to the dealer and then we took our Hilux back to the sawmill. That is for today, we are very tired and we are going to take a break.
