I adore Islanders, a little minimalist city builder recently released on steam. Here's my strategy for getting high scores out of your island, intended for newer players or people trying to level up their game and compete for high scores. This was filmed a couple days back so it doesn't cover the expansion content, but most of the same ideas should apply.

I was briefly #6 on the global leaderboards before better players finished their 40-hour high score runs, and yes I still talk about it. Still top 50 so don't @ me.
