Is Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin Any Good Though?

Another game on my backlog, another adventure completed. Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin was one of my more anticipated games to play, it boasted an art style and premise that set itself apart from the crowd, and it looked right up my alley.

Developed by Edelweiss and published by Marvelous Games in November 2020, it didn't garner a massive reception upon it's release, but it did draw in some curious onlookers, with some people even stating that it was one of the must play JRPG's of 2020. And as of the time of this video's release, it's fair to say that it has been a success in terms of sales.

But of course, sales don't mean much to a person who is curious about playing it. What matters most is the quality of the game itself, confirming whether Sakuna is worth playing.
