Hardware news is slammed this week: NVIDIA is rumored to be considering 7nm TSMC GPUs to help ease supply needs, RAM prices face another down trend, and a new Earth Simulator is made.

Clearly, after all those Cute Pet component reviews, we're excited to hear that more mainstream manufacturers are considering non-standard GPU, case, and peripheral designs to keep things interesting. ASUS is newest on that list, coupling Gundam marketing with its parts. In other news, the Arctic Liquid Freezer II is getting in-place updates to improve its mounting mechanism and the Arctic Freezer 50 has launched.
