The biggest WoW streamer on Twitch has started playing that game’s most serious competitor, Final Fantasy XIV. And the results have been insane — huge personal viewership, the game’s player base exploding.

It’s a huge moment for both Asmongold and for FFXIV. Developer Square Enix even had to stop selling digital copies of the game.

Add to that a WoW expansion facing heavy criticism even from long-time fans and, well... things have been pretty crazy.
