Age of Empires 4 released on steam, windows and gamepass for PC today on October 28 2021! In this Age of Empires IV beginners guide I offer my best, simple starting strategy for players looking to advance to the second era quickly, with minimal clicks, largely free of conflict and distractions. AOE4 is a real time strategy game, and unlike say Humankind of Civilization (which are 4x strategy games that used a turn-based system), the game in age of empires 4 never stops (unless I guess you google 'how to pause age of empires 4 and hit esc haha).

In this Age of Empires IV gameplay tutorial I offer some useful information for beginners - an opening strategy guide for any skirmish (or campaign/ multiplayer game if you're feeling lucky, punk!). In this AoE4 beginners guide I teach you the basics for advancing quickly beyond the feudal era - this is my ideal build order for AoE 4 and hopefully you find the gold and food rush, maximum villager production strategy to be viable for you too!
