I wanted to see what if we had a college football tournament back in 1995 what would happen? Would Nebraska still win the National Championship in dominant fashion, or would a lower-ranked team get hot and win it?

The Champions of the seven major conferences get an automatic bid and a guaranteed home-field advantage in the opening round. Higher ranked teams will get a home game all the way to the Final Four. The Championship will be played at a neutral site in a major bowl game.

#16 Penn State (8-3) at #1 Nebraska (Big 8 champ) 11-0
#15 Michigan (9-3) at #2 Florida (SEC champ) 12-0
#14 Oregon (9-2) at #3 Northwestern (Big 10 champ) 10-1
#13 Kansas (9-2) at # 4 Florida State (ACC champ) 9-2
#12 Kansas State (9-2) at #5 VA Tech (Big East Champ) 9-2
#11 Colorado (9-2) at #6 Texas (SWC champ) 10-1-1
#10 Notre Dame (9-2) at #7 USC (Pac 10 Champ) 8-2-1
#9 Tennessee (10-1) at #8 Ohio State 11-1

If you win your Conference, you automatically get one of hte top 7 seeds. The seeds after that were based on the polls of that year prior to the bowl games.
