Time is precious, so here are 10 of the best short PC games you can beat in under 3 hours. Each of these games is a great adventure full of wonder, mystery or ponies, and are also some of the best short games money can buy. Not everything needs to be a thousand hours long, so if you’re looking for awesome games that can be done quick, look no further.

If you’re looking for short PC games you could start with FAR: Lone Sails and attempt to power a giant steam powered tank through a bleak desert. If you prefer your quick games to be a bit more upbeat, we recommend Chuchel, where lots of weird creatures compete for a tasty cherry. Another game that looks cute, but definitely isn’t is Pony Island, the tale of a demonic pony arcade game. Best discover those dark secrets for yourself.

Want to give your fingers a workout? VVVVVV and its tight, pixel perfect platforming has you sorted. And if you’d rather test those little grey cells, I recommend either Her Story or A case Of Distrust, two excellent detective games you’ll polish off in under three hours. If it’s just your eyes and ears you want to caress, then it has to be Abzu’s underwater wonderland.

Last but not least we enter the weird words of Californium, Inside and Stories Untold. Three very different tales with a science fiction background, all them taking no longer than three hours to beat.
